Plenty of plugins let you embed images from third-party websites, but I prefer to have images hosted on my site. Nothing is worse than going to an old post only to find that all the images are missing because the original source URL changed. Bleh!
Media Manager Plus is a freemium plugin. It’s free to embed pics from instagram, flickr, 500px and dribble. For $9 you can buy an upgrade to stop embedding and start importing. It’s easy peasy. Additional sources are available for about the cost of a Subway sandwich: Dropbox, Behancce, Forrst, Picasa, Twitter, DeviantArt and EyeEm.
